I bought my first smoker about 20 years ago. Back then I knew the art of low & slow cooking was something I wanted to master. I'd test recipes and techniques every weekend. I truly had a passion for this style of cooking. As I was becoming more experienced, I started noticing my neighbors were coming by more frequently to taste my latest recipe. Before long, I was feeding not only my good friends and family, but most of my street. Determined to ever improve, I traveled the country and attended several professional BBQ schools, taught by many of the professionals, who often appear on TV. (As I appear pictured above with BBQ Legends (Left Desktop/ Top Mobile Device) Tuffy Stone, whose record includes 41 Grand Championships, 21 Reserve Grand Championships, & 5 World Championships, & (Right Desktop/ Bottom Mobile Device)with Myron Mixon "The most winningest man in BBQ", whose won over 200 Grand Championships, including 11 national championships.)

Although my journey into the art of low & slow BBQ began long before, I entered my 1st BBQ competition in June 2012, winning the title " NYC Battle of the Boro's Citywide Champion". I'd go on to repeat that title in 2013,and simultaneously began competing on the Kansas City BBQ Society Circuit, where among my accomplishments, my pulled pork won the " NYC BBQ Cookoff's People's Choice Award" 5 years in a row. Throughout this period customers locally in Staten Island began to ask me to cater their parties and events, which I was honored to do, because BBQ is my passion. Now I'm offering my authentic award winning southern style "Low & Slow" BBQ to the NY/NJ area.
